This is a Boat Sharing business model, the idea is for it to kind of be like [url removed, login to view] for Boaters.

We are starting off in Chicago, IL USA but we want this to be a Entire USA business and soon the world.

The website was developed in Word Press. Please let me know if this is a problem

These are the things the database must do:

Anyone posting anything to the site should be able to “Login in” and edit whatever post the made or even delete it.

1. Boat Sharing Database - Input

Add your boat to our system [url removed, login to view]

Use the fields we currently have on our site under the “add your boat page”

Should look like: [url removed, login to view]

Name of the boat owner & Contact Info. (This info must not be shown when boats are searched)

By area Country, State, City, Harbor Zip – By Distance

Must look like [url removed, login to view] summery pages & Detail pages

Type of Boat Power or Sailboat

By Size, age, Brand, Price for a Share

Boat submission form that goes into a database for people to view.

Must be like a [url removed, login to view] Submission Form and search able

Must keep all contact info Commented out

At least 10 Photos Per boat 5 Exterior & 5 Interior shots ( The Display image needs to be a Exterior shot of the boat like this [url removed, login to view]

2. Using the Same Database - Charter Boats

Boats available for charter only please add a Field for boats that only want to be available for Charter only

But we need to add some extra fields like costs, Min amount of hours, what is included.

Is gas included?

They could have a calendar that says what days and times are already booked

We will need to add a new Nav Button for Charter boats but I don't want to add that till later

People then need to contact us when they are interested in Chartering a boat via Email or phone. But it will need a Request info button

3. Search Boats available to share by area but we are Starting with the Chicago Area - Output

Summery Page: to look like this : [url removed, login to view],50/Radius-25/Zip-60093/Sort-Length:DESC

First they are displayed with a Good size Photo of the Exterior of the entire boat , plus : Make, Model, the Year, length, State, city, Harbor

People must be able to search for boats by area, Harbor, boat type, Brand, size, Share cost basically all of the input fields

Detail Page to include all of the above plus all Descriptions and all photos.

Need to be able to enable listings once we approve listing, so the listing goes into the database disabled and then we check the enable check box once we approve it.

Need a Link so people Can apply to Share/ lease each boat direct from the listing database page, plus a copy of the application with just a Customer ID # needs to go directly to the Boat owner – NO Contact information. Need to make sure No contact info: Emails or Phone's are listed to the public only for Admin's eyes

Need to be able to add a “Sold out for Season” Stamp across Listing Summery page and Detail pages after a boat is sold out.

4. Lessee Database - [url removed, login to view]

An area for people to submit the type of boat they are looking for and all of boating experience

Then people should be able to view the lessees that are looking to share in a boat by area, type of boat, size, share price range But the Contact info needs to be commented out.

Need to be able to search by area, types of boats sizes...

A Boat owner should be able to send The Boat profile that he has online to the Lessee prospect but no direct communication between the two so they can't go around us and do a deal .

5. Boating Message Boards, by area by interest… Would need to “sign in” to leave messages

6. We also need a work Referral tracking system.

I want to have boat brokers and boat storage yards to but I banner ad on their own sites that have a referral tracking # so we can keep track of where our leads come from and so we can pay them if we close a deal.

The same kind of program that [url removed, login to view] has and almost all retailers do.
