Would like to add real-time bidding data to existing auction script webid ver 1.1.1 This would add the ability for the user to get real time highest bid data. Also would like notification system within the user interface when user is logged in to notify user of bid status.. The browse page and home page should have real time bids and high bidder displayed. From what I can tell this may be a task for a comet implementation of web-socket integration, but we are open to suggestion. We are not software developers but we understand enough to know what we need. Not interested in Long Polling or ajax routines as the server resource requirement is quite heavy. Solution must be cross browser compatible.. Please let us know if you have any questions.
