XLS to SQL Through DTS

Hi

This is an easy project for those who know what they are doing.

I have XLS which need to be imported to SQL through DTS. I have it ready but it works with preformatted XLS while I need mapping of the columns so that if we get one or two different or less fields then our operators can map them once and then import as per mapped format. It should be fast, reliable and should be able to handle XLS of 10K records.

I guess:

Just add the mapping piece upfront and then use the mapping results to rename the fields as needed in the DTS package. During the mapping you determine that imported field "OurProducts" mapped to "Products". This can be done easily using the "ALTER TABLE.." statement.

so in brief, I need a way to map the columns to be sent in SQL through DTS so that I don't need to have one very set database. Actual Excel sheet will be provided to the winner but I need to see a demo before accepting anyone.

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
