474423 Modify an Existing WordPress Plugin

I am looking to add another advanced PHP coder that is capable of creating & modifying WordPress plugins. This will be for an on-going basis.

For the first project,

I have a WordPress ( wp-affiliate ) currently it works by counting impressions or clicks from a banner

provided to the affiliate. I want it configured to count based on data from another database ( Please see attached flow chart ).

in terms of keeping affiliate compensation information organized the problem, is that the plugin determins payout based on impressions or clicks of a banner that is provided to the affiliate. In our case, there is no "banner" and the dj will only be compensated if a "transaction" occurs the payment gateway will pass transaction data to a database - but this database is on a windows server and will be totally seperate from the wordpress part of the site.

What this plugin needs to do

1) query the remote db at a certain time each day bring in recent transaction data ( to wp-affiliate ) and update affiliates accordingly. To do this - so we have a common identifier - the query to the remote db will be for recent transactions that have an affiliate id equal to one of the registered djs all of whom will have "affililiate accounts inside the wp plugin
