The project will entail he creation of a webbed application (webpages) which will read and write data to a basic customer database to allow the management of jobs and customers within a computer repair shop.
As customers come to our store we would like to get their personal details via webforms, completed on a shop iPad/pc. We would like to allow shared access to this web application for all our staff,. The intention would be that each job can be assigned a unique ID and tagged to a specific customer, so that every job completed for one customer over a long period could be searched and information provide don previous repairs.
Additionally, we would like one section for recording details of the item hand din for repair, and another section for use in the workshop, where information relating to the repair would be entered.
We would also like the ability to print pages of the form if needed and print off labels with the specific job number and customer name at the time of book in, to stick on the laptop/ipad or whatever.
This solution may sound complex but i think a relatively simple webforms would do the trick (which i will provide fields for). Additionally a relatively simple backend database will be needed to store the information.
Budget is important and we want a working solution without paying too much.
