Edit a Wordpress Template

[login to view URL] is template from Bridge Wordpress theme. I need help editing the actual template of wordpress. Traditionally we are given one portfolio tab to work with where i can add categories, add new items into the portfolio. I now need two tabs with the exact same functions but one named "Brands" & "Trends". Each must have their sections and must work with Visual Composer so client can add their own separate category of items in their website. Please logon to the website and see why we need not tabs.
Secondly when in either brands or trends page (which should be a portfolio page with all the listings) we need a custom sidebar where it features categories and latest entires & a customer added entry.
Further more once inside the actual entry, the heading must not say "About this project" but instead About this Trend or Brand. This part i need a full blown explanation because i need to apply this to my other website and need instruction for future changes.
