mod rewrite

I need some help with a modification to a script. A single php file which is part of a php link directory

I have created an htaccess file with the MOD rewrites

i have edited the php file and have the main category links working

what i CANNOT get working is the coding for the pagination at the bottom of the website listings to work with the MOD rewrites.

I need this done quickly please
