Messages should go through websockets
Notifications sent via email and online through the desktop/mobile
User list showing who is online and their location
File sharing (Photo, Video, File, Audio)
Emoticons
Chat in a group or one on one
Ability to change the chat group name
Invite / Kick Users
Guest Login
Responsive design
Mobile responsive design
Male/Female choice upon registering
Location upon registering
Town upon registering
Update Group / Profile Photo
Registration / Login System
There should also be an administration panel whereby the admin should have the following:
kick/or ban a user
view who is online
see all messages
delete messages
edit accounts
view ip address and browser information
set the meta tag and website name from the admin panel
set the database information from the admin panel
purge the database from the admin panel
view conversation in "Ghost mode" effectively be able to spy on users without them knowing (for security and to stop spammers)
