Woocommerce BlockUI in place order and add to cart action (own theme)

I have a woocommerce shop with my own theme (nb-foody) and the add to cart actions and place order are slow and with this theme the blockUI typical in the storefront are not working right. The JS is working and the related div are shown, but nothing is visible.
I need that when a user clicks on the "Place order" button, the blockUI div is shown and blocking the user to misclick, and when clicking on add to cart do a similar think (storefront change the add to cart icon for a loading/spinner).
