Hi,
I'm building a WP-based website that will be an e-commerce with multi vendor functionality.
To achieve this I am using YITH plugins, in particular the multi vendor YITH.
Each seller will be able to sell their products independently on the new website and obtain payments with Stripe Connect thanks to the YITH Stripe Connect plug-in and modify the seller settings thanks to YITH Frontend Manager (seller panel).
To sell, each seller must prove that he is an Amazon seller and offer the same products he has on Amazon on the website. At the moment there is no YITH plugin to do it :) so I need you.
The plug-in should have a front-end GUI (for the seller) integrated into the YITH Frontend Manager interface (seller panel).
The seller should be able to import his product data from Amazon thanks to the integration of the new [login to view URL] plug-in and API so that the seller fills out a form or a table on the supplier interface with the ASIN of the product you want to sell and the API will get the product data, ready to be included the website with title, description, image and any child products while the price is set by the seller inside the seller panel.
So there should be two fields in the seller panel: ASIN and price, and a "send" button.
The seller must also be able to insert this ASIN/price list from a CSV file.
How can we be sure that the ASIN entered by the seller belongs to one of its Amazon products?
Upon registration, each seller must receive a random code (5 alphanumeric characters) and must insert it in the title of the products they wish to include on the website. Then, once the ASIN has been entered in the seller's panel, while the plug-in loads products in the WP database, should check if the title contains the alphanumeric code and create the product only if it passes the check.
If everithing goes well now the products are in the website and associated to the seller, so he can see it and eventually modify it thanks to the set of instruments already present in the website, but the product are not published yet, because it need the admin revision as the website rules.
Since I don't want to check every product and publish it, I would a button an the seller panel, something like "publish" that do this:
- check that products has been modified
- get datas from Amazon with the API function, check the alfanumeric code (again), and overwrite title, image and description with data from Amazon before publish.
I think is all, so it's not a guy's game, but it's possible to do if you accept challenge.
The GUI should be curate and on stilish line already present.
The code must be well done, solid, and commented for future implementation.
