Calculate the distance of a bullet through water

Hi,
I need help calculating the distance a handgun bullet would travel through water when shot at an angle between 20-30 degrees from a distance of aprox. 10 cm above the surface.
Idealy I would like an excel sheet where I can later edit the ballistic values as well as the angle.
As I have contemplated the problem I realize the calculations are quite straight forward once the bullet has penetrated the water surface. Here is an article online which gives an introduction to it:

What I understand requires slightly more contemplation is the physics relating to the shape dynamics of the bullet upon collision with the water surface.
To give you a better idea of what I am trying to find out; this video from Myth Busters almost answers my question:

The first weapon they test is a 9mm hand gun which they conclude is non-lethal at 8 feet depth. The problem is they fire the gun straight down which increases its reach. Later with the heavier weapons they relocate to a swimming pool where they fire at an angle. I want to know the distance the 9mm would travel if shot as in the second part of the show.
Online resources exist for ballistics calculations, they are just not adapted to water or air into water but many are open-source which perhaps might be useful as a starting point:
