I need someone to create a 3d model so i can submit it for manufacturing estimates... The basic design requirements are below.
Im looking to make stack able pots, the basic design can be seen in attached photo. The general idea is that there would be 2 parts to it; the pot itself and another piece that will allow them to be stacked(drawn in red in the picture).
The bottom of the main pot will need to come together in a octagon thats open at the bottom. each side of it should be around 3 inches. The side image in the sketch shows the basic idea and dimensions for the side pockets. The overall height of the pot should be around 6 inches, plus a half inch to insert it into the second piece to stack. The bottom and top of the main pot should e a little thicker to stop the pot from warping, but the middle can be somewhat thin. There will not be alot of weight in each layer
The reason Im going with a second piece is to allow the main pots the be nested/stack inside each other for easier shipping. This piece should be about a half inch tall(the solid red part) to allow the bottom of the pot to slide into and have 1" legs/spikes at every corner to stop the piece from sliding around. These legs should fit over the top of the main pot and have very little wiggle room.
