We have a currently live (in production) site for a client and are in need of a savvy .NET developer with proven experience to review the site and write up documentation to help support it.

The documentation should allow any developer added to the project to quickly come on board to do code updates, modifications and new development more quickly than having to review the entire code base. It will also be added-to, moving ahead, when new elements are added to the site, modified or removed.

The documentation will also be shared with the client.

Write ups should/will include documentation of all of the following components of the project:

* Front-facing site including main client site and the co-branded sites (one set of documentation can be made that covers all co-branded sites, we do not need documentation for each site as they all work the same way) including documenting where all content is loaded from, templates for each page type, etc.

* CMS Interface to manage sites

* Database(s)

* XML (incoming data, outgiong data and parser applications)

* All other relevant applications that run in relation to the site (XML Parser, .exe applications)

We're looking for what most consider UML documentation - but only documenting what the site currently does. We'd be looking for the following information as part of this project:

* Use Cases

* Documentation that shows each call from one method to the next

* Activity Diagrams

* Application structure

* Business Processes

* Data Structure

We have the live (production) site, a "Staging" version as well as all code files in Github (source code repository) that will be available for your access. Access to production will be limited until we establish our relationship.

We're hoping to find a developer who is willing to dig in and do this documentation for us, then work in tandem with another developer with us to lead this project, ongoing as a hands-on developer. As of right now, we have a number of new work requests that are approved by the client to take on, but we feel we need this documentation before moving ahead so all developers are on the same page.

## Deliverables

* You must be a native English speaker and a top-notch communicator.

* Your writing skills should be above-average.

* You should have extreme attention to detail.

* We would prefer someone who works during US Central Time Zone Business hours so we can interface when needed in real time. Ideally you will be available during the project from 10a - 5p M-F CST. However, we have worked with developers outside of the US and worked around time gaps, but because this may require a lot of Q&A with you, we'd love to work with someone US, Canada or South America based who can deal with us to ensure prompt and timely delivery.

* We have worked with developers for 7+ years that we've met through sites like vworker. We're not a company that dangles a mythical carrot of future work. We really like to build trust and respect with our freelancers and there will be future work on this project (and others) moving forward if things go well on this project request.

As part of your message back to us, please let us know what information you will need, specifically, to solidify your bid. We'd like to get going on this soon, so establishing a bid and timeframe is of utmost importance to us, we have much work approved and ready to work on once this documentation is completed.
