Prestige Jewellery Website Concepts

Overview:

We need a designer, a web designer. Someone who know's web design and is a strong communicator and understands communication and layout and can clearly communicate this is stunning design concepts.

Design concepts for prestige Australian jewellery retailer website re-design. Present two separate concepts. We are wanting to refresh out current website's look and feel to bring it up to speed with other parts of our corporate identity, brand, look and feel. Our website needs to be freshened up and brought in to 2011.

Brief:

Rutherford is a prestige jewellery retailer selling a wide range of prestige and high quality antique and contemporary jewellery and pearls. The Rutherford brand is over 60 years old and holds a very professional and prestige place within the marketplace. Everything we do must be slick, look professional and 'upper-class' whilst remaining contemporary.

Our catalogue (attached in low res PDF format) provides an example of the new look and feel we are trying to carry across in to the website. Prestige, clear and clean whilst remaining tasteful and looking classy. See catalogue attached for example.

At this stage we are looking for static mockups and concepts to entice. Please provide two separate concepts for approval. Concepts should be provided in layered PSD format with editable text layers.

Navigation (content not structure) and Content to remain as is from current site. Be creative, think outside the quare. Upon winning this job a selection of images and EPS files of the logo etc will supplied in ZIP format for your insertion in to your concepts.

Corporate Colours and styles:

As you'll note from the attached PDF catalogue the Rutherford corporate colours are very simple - Black, White and percentage shades of Black. Fonts are always Helvetica Neue and Arial where necessary.

Notes:

• Feature the jewellery image trough the site as this is the advantage and selling point we have over our competition

• Any design/structural navigation changes that you feel necessary to sell the concept, go for it.

• We don't want a splash flash screen screen. The home page should clearly scream: "We sell jewllery, we are classy, and see the photos of our stock are amazing. Now what is it you're looking for customer?"

Timeline/Deadline: We wanting to get some concepts constructed as soon as possible.

Supply of Artwork:

150dpi RGB layered PSD with editable text layers. Not flattened or rasterized.
