Updating Wordpress Site - Menu Bar and Content Slider

After our previous website designer missed out on a couple of key items for our website [login to view URL] we still require a couple of updates to ensure our site is fully functioning and easy to maintain.
We require someone to update 2 things on our site:
1) I updated our site so that 'blog' became a category and not a page. However, now the appearance of the homepage is not working - when I updated our menu to transform blog into a category. I read the below error message:
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/abackpac/public_html/wp-content/plugins/custom-menu-images/[login to view URL] on line 150
Therefore, we need someone to fix the format of our menu bar so that everything fits on one line (it did previously, please see attachement), and also so that the drop down menu goes OVER the content slider (currently when the menu drops down it hides behind the pictures on the slider making it difficult to read). Please make sure that all titles on the menu bar are centered (this includes top menu, main navigation menu, and the right hand side menu).
2) The content slider on the right side of our homepage (currently showing lots of images from around the world) needs to be updated so that:
- A user can see the title of the picture and what they are looking at (maybe if they hover the curser over the picture - such as our flickr pictures at the footer of the site).
- We know how to update, remove and add images to the content slider, as the site will be constantly updated.
We also require someone who is available for small jobs throughout the life of our site, so if the work is quality and on time, we'll be using you again and again and again.
If you are able to do this please post a bid. We understand that this is not something that will take very long to complete so please prepare your bids accordingly.
