Redesign website fast work

We need a good web designer that is creative. Have a client website which needs redesigned. Client wants to retain the same look and feel and graphics and functionality and color scheme of the existing website to the greatest extent possible and client is very picky. The trick is we want the website to be as similar in look and feel as the clients existing website but to somehow integrate so it is a balance between that site and the top 3 or so in google for the clients top keyphrase. Or at the least take the existing concept and make it much better.

We'll provide the url in private and pertinant details in that regard to whomever we are considering once bidding begins.

New website has to be as search engine friendly as possible for the client business - although not looking for an seo specialist per se as that is our job - just want the design to be friendly enough to be easy to seo for us. Design is to be in standards compliant html with css -not php, don't need a CMS, etc. If you bid for anything else other than what we are asking we'll ignore the bid.

A majority of the work is already done so to speak because we simply want you to take the existing website information and pages and enclose it in a new design with the goal in mind of us being able to add up to about 500 words or so to the front page and other pages so this is a low budget task. The existing design especially the front page is rather stiff towards being able to do this so we are looking for something else that will please the client in regard to design and allow us to enhance the content without affecting the design. that is our biggest issue and why this project is being undertaken.

So please understand this once you see the site as we will need to know you clearly understand the scope of this project.

And here is the most important part -we want someone that can do this very fast and efficiently as we are under a time crunch and only have a couple of weeks at best to get this task accomplished which is only why we are outsourcing it. We have had experiences with freelancers before making all kinds of promises and weeks turn into months and months turn into many more months. If this is you and we do not have acceptable mock ups within a very short time and AND/OR acceptable finished work within the specified agreed upon timeframe you're fired and no money will change hands and we will move onto someone else or do it ourselves. Good part is we are swamped with business and it is likely if we find the right person with this project we will have other projects to bring to task quickly.

So understand the timeframe is the most critical part of this project in addition to the work needed as we will mutually agree upon prior to bid being accepted.

Please read carefully and be certain you understand the scope of the project as anyone offering more or less than what we are asking will likely be ignored.

And anyone that bids at the upper end of the budget (such as $250) will be pretty much ignored since all I am asking for is the design of two pages which should take a clever and talented person no more than 3-4-5 hours or so-the front page and a secondary page and no writing of actual copy- not the complete building of a website. I am simply looking for a fresh new and original tableless design which will hopefully combine the original look with the desired new look and serve our purposes.
