ASP Code - Quick Fix

I am trying to make this code select only the first 10 records, I know it looks strange with the [login to view URL] code stacked but it does what I need it to do right now, which is it takes the first record, skips one and then takes the next. That is what I need but I only want it to display 10, not all

The ID field is an auto number and the newest records are the 10 highest numbers, so I guess it can be used to find the newest records, I am just unsure how. Here is my complete code that builds the tables and so forth and it works fine, but it displays all records, I just want the first 10, I have tried so hard but can't get it to work

Also attached is a text file with the code that I need modified to do this.
