A simple diagram to visualize data

You are required to create a scatterplot diagram looking like this:

Each circle is represented by housetypes. You should be able to click on each circle and get further information about each house, like: Current price, and the list of all the other prices since 2000 (this data is found in the excel file). "Increase in value (%)" is the value the house has increased from 2000 till 2003. You can find this by taking the value in 2003 (latest date) and substract it with the value in 2000 (earliest date). The value you get must be divided by the latest date value, and divide it by 100 to get the increase in %. This is not increase per year, but it is what it has been increased over the past three years.

The distance to london is found in the excel document.

The reason why this is visualized as shown in the figure is to show the user that the higher and closer to london it is, the more profitable is it to buy that house. (Because the increase rate).

The zip file contains all the necessary information. Please view that before asking questions.

By this visualization the user must be able to:

a) Determine the average price of property sold for a given area during a given quarter

b) Determine both recent and long-term trends for a given area

c) Compare prices and trends across different areas

d) Determine proximity of an area relative to London

e) Compare prices and trends between property types

The data will be extracted from a excel file and by execution of the program, it should ask for the path of this file. The data file contains County or Unitary Authority, date and price and km to London.

The textfield can be used to filter out the circles. Enter a price and the circles should appear accordingly. The price must be set to 120 000 as default. This means that houses above 120 000 should not be appeared until you increase.

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. 4) Must be error free.

5) The code MUST be as simple as possible.

6) Each line (except variable declaration) must be commented in the source code. Additionally, you must give your personal comments on what the weaknesses and strengths of this program are.
