Data mine for sender IP addresses within gmail (google apps)

Our company is seeking a way to data mine the incoming messages stored in a gmail account, and build a list of the sender IP address. This could be in the form of a chrome extension, or through the google apps API, or any other method you suggest.

The program must be flexible enough to understand email headers generated by any ISP. Some ISPs do not include the sender IP address in email headers, so for those cases a NULL result is acceptable. See: RFC 822

A moderate level of user intervention is OK, the program does not need to be totally autonomous. As part of your estimate, please advice how many clicks will be required in order to generate a complete list.

The input will be:

- A gmail account, username and password (this could be supplied by logging into the account, then leaving the browser open while the program runs)

- A selection of which labels the program should search through. The selectable labels should include all the labels available in the current gmail account

We would like the output to be a CSV or excel file with columns for:

- sender's IP address

- sender's email address

- A unique ID, that we can use to find the original message and message thread in gmail

Deliverables:

- All code and software needed to perform this datamining (open source or 3rd party code is OK)

- Instructions for use

In your proposal please include:

- What technology you suggest to use for this task

- How many clicks it will take to collect all the data

- The approximate rate that you expect the program will operate (eg. how many message per minute will it be able to process?)
