Booking Sports Calendar - Many venues- Many players

This document describes the functionality for the Training Module that needs to be developed

This application is a booking calendar for multisport events,

More specifically one has Many Venues, many clients (2 dimensional) and many slots that can book a session.

The details are given below but the requirements include

1. Many Venues that operate each one on a different time scale some on fixed time slots defined by the user and some just by reserving free time slots.

2. Many clients that usually are 2 dimensiosal; this means for example the USA men’s football team

3. Finally a clever reporting mechanism that can alert both the administrators of the program as well as the clients by reports, or by sms reporting (thourgh a gateway)

4. Development should be done in an open standard or a web interface.

5. User must be able to customise the interface

6. user account maintenance is a must

7. Service will be sold through a subscription model where the user should be able to subscribe on a service or through a self installed package.

8. BIDDING developers are requested to submit an SRS or flow chart, otherwise there BIDS WILL NOT be evaluated

9. TERMS OF PAYMENTS. Payment is handled only on an escrow account . Money is reserved at the escrow account and is released only at the successful completion of the project (please do not bet unless you fully understand this paragraph).

10. I am looking to build a long term description as I am planning to sign a long term maintenance contract and developer is requested to submit full source code and also user manual.

11. tools selected should be preferably be based on LAMP technology

Any ideas to improve the project are welcomed

This project will be an extension to the Competition Program that is currently developed by another porgrammer
