Description: We are looking for a capable Java developer that can develop a text chat and add some missing functionality to the Java based version of the remote desktop application UltraVNC. We are trying to get the UltraVNC JavaViewer to connect to a VNC client that is behind a firewall using the "VNC repeater" - but the Java version of the VNC viewer does not support all the same functionality as the regular desktop client. We want someone to add this support, specifically "mode 1" support. Here is what we want: 1.A simple but elegant text chat that allows the customer and technician to have preliminary discussions. The chat must keep a log and has a few specific additional button functions defined further in this document. [url removed, login to view], the Java UltraVNC viewer is launched from a website and passed two variables - the WAN/gateway IP and the local IP of the end user that you want to connect to. [url removed, login to view] "VNC Repeater" software is installed and listening on the server/gateway that the end user is connected to, and it does the necessary routing so that the VNC viewer can connect to the VNC client. [url removed, login to view] need someone to add "mode 1" repeater support to the UltraVNC JavaViewer - the regular desktop version supports all modes 1/2/3. [url removed, login to view] support for mode 1 We will provide the chosen developer a login to our system. The developer should provide all binaries and source code, documentation, etc. needed to support the product. that already has the Java VNC viewer and repeater up and running. The developer should only need to modify the UltraVNC java viewer source code. Note: Results must remain 100% compatible with UtraVNC software packages.
