Incorporate card payment into Sugar

The job is quite simple. Please read the following details instructions and ONLY RESPOND in certain you can deliver a bug free and tested solution. We are running Sugar CRM. We have a merchant facility with Barclays bank in the UK. We wish to integrate MPI into our sugar crm and have it delivered as an installable version with is compatible with all these options:

Solaris (sparc) 2.7

Windows NT (4.0) / Windows 2000

HP-UX 11.0

Java 1.2 / 1.3

XML

We wish to have the merchant facility to be integrated in the lead page and why we process payment for the product, the lead becomes an account, the information goes to the mysqul database, generates and emails a pdf receipt. A later project will deal with the accounting software integration.

Welcome to ePDQ from Barclaycard Business and welcome to your new look website.

Now that you have successfully applied for ePDQ, we will set you up with an ePDQ store to use with your web business. Our eCommerce Support Team will send you an email with your store ID and ePDQ store web address. Upon receipt of this email, you must phone us on the number provided to gain your store password (you will be required to answer security questions to confirm your identity).

Once you have obtained your ePDQ store ID, username and password you can commence integration of the ePDQ MPI. Please ensure you read the document section on setting passwords before you start as you may wish to set up a specific password for use with the ePDQ MPI.

Please do not attempt to integrate the ePDQ MPI until we have confirmed your ePDQ store details.

ePDQ Version 5.5 software is available for the following platforms: You should only download the version suitable for your platform.

The documents below provide integration details for the ePDQ MPI Product. Click on the relevant link to download the document.

API Guide - This manual describes the C and Java client APIs for the ePDQ MPI, but is also essential for XML integration.

XML Guide - This manual describes the XML client API for the ePDQ MPI. (To be used in conjunction with the API Guide).

Document Hierarchy [2] [3] - This manual describes the ClearCommerce Engine document hierarchy and lists the data definitions for all document types presented in the API reference and guide.

Payment Reference - This manual describes setting up, configuration and managing card processing with Barclaycard Business and the ClearCommerce Engine.

IMPORTANT - The ePDQ MPI requires complex integration and uses API scripts. You must ensure you are competent in either C/C++ or Java programming before attempting to integrate the MPI.

If you do not feel confident enough to integrate the MPI you should contact one of the ePDQ Merchant Development Partners, or consult your own web developer.

The following operating guides are provided to explain how to use ePDQ. It is important that you read and understand the main functions of ePDQ before processing a transaction.

We have provided an "Easy Use" document that is available as either a complete guide, or broken down into sections. Both the Operating and Risk Management Guide are standard software documents. Please note that ePDQ does not support the Experian Risk Service, Fraud Analyser or Clear Commerce Payer Authentication.

Store Administrator Guide 5.5 - This provides details on how to administer your ePDQ store. You must have a relevant store ID, username and password to access your store. By accessing your store, you will be able to view transaction details, mark transactions for settlement, query transactions and perform refunds.

Risk Manager Guide 5.5 - This document provides comprehensive information to understand and use the Risk Management service offered by ePDQ.

Cardholder Funds Transfer (Gaming) This document should be referenced if you have an agreed Internet Gaming merchant number in place with us. It provides instructions on how you should process winnings to cardholders. You must follow the procedure outlined in this document. If you do not currently have an Internet Gaming merchant number with us and would like to apply for one, please contact us.

Note: If you are integrating ePDQ on behalf of a Barclaycard Business customer, you must provide your client with the Integration & Operating Guides and advise them where and how they log into their administration tool.

When you have integrated the ePDQ MPI and are happy to start taking live transactions you will need to activate your ePDQ account by filling out our ePDQ Account Activation form. Please complete the details as required before submitting your request.

Please allow 24 hours for your request to be actioned.

You will receive email confirmation from us when your ePDQ account is live. You should not process any transactions before receiving confirmation from us. When you are live, you must ensure that all live transactions and settlements are processed in Production (P) mode.
