Drone Video Feed to App
All drones (or at least the more advanced models) have a video feed to the controller. Also known as first person view.
So there is already a video feed coming to the monitor on the ground.
I want to capture this video feed that is coming to the controller from the drone and be able to send it to the app.
On this App people will have their own dashboard so other people from anywhere can view this video feed in real time and any number of people can view this as long as they have the access code to view this given to them by the drone operator.
So this App will support thousands of users allowing any number of viewers to see in real time what the drone is video feeding to the operator of the drone.
This may require a special application to translate it to the app, but it needs to be able to work across the board for all types of video feeds in this arena of radio controlled devices along with Go Pro.
The closest application similar to what I am explaining is Drop Cam. They have an app and once plugged in and the app is on your smart phone anyone with the corresponding address can view the video in real time.
I want an application similar to Drop Cam – charging a monthly fee for a single user and if they want more people to view in real time there is a small fee for each user… and also the video will be stored on each users’ dashboard so they can later edit it, move it or whatever – eliminating always transferring video. Of course this is just the first rough draft and some details will have to be worked out but this in general summary is what I need developed.
People will have their own “channel” on our app,,, so the owner of each dashboard can give different levels of his video viewing different levels of privacy, ie; to public, to invited friends, no one, etc etc.
