PL/SQL Developer - UNIX Oriented

• Review and understand hundreds of existing Unix scripts with some of them 2-3 thousand lines and modify/optimize them to work with the new strategic Java framework for extracting data from core accounting system. <br />• Should use best-practices when developing any piece of code.<br />• Follow standard SCM procedure (use of Subversion)<br />• Provide documentation where necessary<br />• Investigate and resolve production issues.<br />• Should be able to work under pressure during urgent production issues or tight delivery schedule.<br /><br />• Should be proficient in Unix scripting<br /><br />• Strong knowledge of UNIX / LINUX systems (preferably Solaris)<br /><br />• Ability to think, work and contribute beyond defined responsibilities<br /><br />• Strong analytical skills<br /><br />• Experience writing functional/technical specifications<br /><br />• Full Time availability
