Related Products Code

I have an ASP ecommerce template that I would like a modification for.

The site is MS Access driven and has tables of products and categories. Products belong to certain categories- they can belong to more than one category.

At the checkout stage of my Online Store - I would like to be able to suggest other products that my customer may want to purchase.

I want to be able to manually select from an Admin page a product and then relate other products to it that will be dispalyed at the checkout phase. As an option I may want to select a category or categories that relate to the product - and then display 4 randomly selected products from this category or categories. I would like to configure the amount products from the admin page also.

A problem I see is at the checkout phase - is what to do when we have more than one product in the cart.

Perhaps we could list the products in the cart horizontally and underneath them going vertically down list the related products.

I would also like to have a box I can place on product pages that will list the related products - by passing the productID to the code.

I hope I havn't confused.

Consideration will be offered to the coder who could offer this in a PHP - MYSQL solution as well. Although this is not essential for me to accept your bid.

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
