**High Level Project Overview
**
The project is a secure client access portal that will allow trustees and brokers to view their historical investment account data online. The SCAP will consist of four primary components:
1. User authentication
2. Reports
3. Process to import 13 CSV files into SQL Server nightly
4. User management
The user authentication component will involve a multi-layer logon system with automated password recovery. The first layer will use ASP.Net Membership Provider to authenticate the user based on a correct username and password. The second layer will require the user to select an image pre-associated with this account from a random collection of images displayed on each logon. You will be "bolting on" the second layer of authentication to the ASP.Net Membership Provider, so experience with ASP.Net 2.0 Membership Provider is critical.
The Reports area consists of eight read-only reports that we will generate from data housed in a Microsoft SQL Server database. We must use SQL DTS or write a web service to populate the SQL Server through a nightly process that will import 13 CSV files that the client's core accounting system generates.
**Data Import to SQL Server**
Each nightly dump contains a _full_ data set, NOT AN INCREMENTAL OR DIFFERENTIAL dump. Therefore our process must dump the data tables prior to importing the data. The data import will be a transactional process and must include exception reporting to alert staff when a data import fails. The most common reason for failure is improperly formatted data that the source process generates. We cannot guarantee the quality of the data export process on the data source, so we must identify this as a risk.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
