I'm a college student in Los Angeles, CA. I came up with an idea for a social networking site and I'm looking for someone who can design it for me. It would be somewhat similar to myspace in design, but not in content. I would need messaging capabilities, personal profile creation, self updating links to news, built-in blogging capabilites, the ability for users to upload videos, photos, and possibly music, message boards(both public boards and boards that are invite-only), and an event/manager calendar. There are also some other functions that I would need, but to explain them I would have to get into the specifics of the project, which I don't want to do until I get a basic pricing estimate.

The website won't have to be that big at first, but it will have to give lots of room for growth. I would hope to have the site ready by Spring 2007 if possible, and Fall 2007 at the latest.

Can you let me know if you can build a site like this and if so how much it would cost.

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).

## Platform

This site needs to be able to work on all platforms that facebook or myspace work on.
