php scripts - download stock data using yahoo api

I need a php script to download stock data using YQL from yahoo.? I have a database symbol list containing over 7500 symbols which I update daily.? We need to query YQL with each of these symbols, download the data via xml (preferred) or csv and append to a new table in mysql.? The script needs to perform this entire routine for each symbol.? A new table needs to be created from a script you provide with a suggested format for the downloaded data values.? I will kickoff the script via cron daily using the php script to:

1. Match to mysql symbol list table

2. Download data for each symbol on the list

3. Append data to newly constructed table where values have changed

4. If values have not changed for current symbol, go to next symbol.

The table data needs to be unique by record.? This could be solved by indexing every row in the table, but I think this will create rather large indexes, therefore I am looking for someone to design a table structure. Instructions can be found on the yahoo api and yql here:
