We are looking for an experienced full-stack web developer to build a custom LMS mobile-first Progressive Web App (PWA) for an exciting new startup venture.
The developer will be working closely with the team, notably the graphic designer, UX designer and CEO. A full high-fidelity visual mockup (i.e. prototype) will be provided with comprehensive wireframe and specification details. Development will take place within Github.
This is a LONG-TERM POSITION. Whoever is chosen will be working closely with the team for the foreseeable future and may even lead to a salary position after the project takes off.
The following skills are essential:
— Full-stack development
— Experience in PHP, Java, CSS
— Database system knowledge
— An eye for design
— Mastery of the English language
— Availability on the weekends
The following skills are desired:
— Experience in LMS
— Experience working with high quality prototypes
— Experience using InVision and Github
— Experience in startups
The product is effectively an online course website for students with all the expected features (course-unit-module breakdown, text, media, quizzes and text entry fields with checking software) and a few custom ones (data tracking [time on site], timer graphics, automatic alert systems [emails/texts]).
