The candidate will have experience in building ecommerce web sites (Magento preferred), strong PHP development skills, and user interface development experience.
Responsibilities and Duties
The person will be involved in development and delivery of high traffic E-Commerce websites
Understanding of business requirements and translating them into well-engineered and integrated technical solutions and reusable components
Ideal candidate will be organized, eager to work hard and open to learning and growing with the company
Strong MySQL skills with the ability to understand, analyze DB design and write complex SQL queries
Experience with Magento is a [login to view URL] Core PHP skills
Proficient in responsive Bootstrap , HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery and other JavaScript libraries - integration and scratch coding
Experience in building scalable libraries and frameworks on RESTful, SOAP APIs and Web Services
Proficient in working with remote data via SOAP and XML is desired
Integration Experience with Web Services, third-party APIs and Plugins (Amazon, eBay.) will be a plus.
Strong coding experience in PHP and other programming languages
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
Minimum experience of 4-8 years in e-commerce with Magento development preferred
Good Understanding of Magento's code structure, extension architecture, theming hierarchy and components
Good Knowledge of Magento development including extending existing functionality, creating custom modules, and working with it's API
Knowledge of Linux OS, Eclipse & version control systems (Bitbucket, GitHub or SVN) is a plus
