You will perform an analysis of a lifting job and calculate the Recommended Weight Limit (RWL). The RWL means that it is unsafe to lift more than this weight (in kg).
You will also calculate the Lifting Index (LI). This is a ratio of the actual load weight being lifted compared to the RWL. If the LI is greater than 1, then the lift is unsafe.
Mock-up a lifting task (at home or work). Keep it simple and make up the measurements and weights if you want.
