Began programming computers in childhood in the late 1970s, I learned HTML in late 1993, and have been a professional developer since 1994. Oracle Database Master Certification (1996) I am one of the explorers of the Mammoth Cave System in Kentucky, the longest known cave in the world, and am the most recent person to have discovered a new entrance to the cave (2005). As a volunteer for the Richard Dawkins Foundation for Reason and Science, I prepared the French subtitles for the currently available DVD release of "Growing Up in the Universe," a series of science lectures for children. I enjoy creative enterprises and the sciences, and am well read in both the sciences and the humanities. I reside in Louisville, Kentucky, USA.

Object-oriented programming in both native OOP langauges such as Java and C++. Familiar with object-oriented methodologies in weakly-typed languages such as PHP and Visual Basic. Familiar with application development frameworks such as Spring and Ruby on Rails, and content management systems such as Joomla. Eclipse development environment. I enjoy using Linux, and my favorite distribution is Debian.
