Ansar S.

I’m Ansar Sherif Abafita. I have been graduated from Hawassa University School of Law with Bachelor of Laws degree in Law; and a Graduate student at Addis Ababa University, Law School (LLM). I have previously worked as a Para-legal at Hawassa University for more than Two years rendering legal aids to indigents where I oversaw all the legal roles and politics behind it. Further, I was employed as a junior lawyer in 2019 at Jimma University and then as an Assistant Lecturer of Law at Dambi Dollo University in 2020 in which after two years promoted to coordinator of law school quality assurance and relevance. As an academician and legal professional with expertise in law and the practice of law, I have rich experience in teaching and conducting research on legal issues. Besides, I have experiences in legal aid service provision in various cities and institutions in Ethiopia to indigents and vulnerable groups. Additionally, my work was exceptional and the boss believed and allowed me to run the office when away. I have been also working as an attorney at law in Droga Group Company’s in Ethiopia, proving my practical experience in representing my employer, clients and advocating for their legal interests and rights. I am always energetic and eager to earn new skills; I am fast learner as well. I’m able to handle multiple tasks on a daily basis. I am highly engaged in legal discourses, debates and legal communities to share ideas. I am open-minded since I am able to adapt to any situation. I’m passionate and excited to be change agents in the world in my respective fields and to promote sustainable development around the world. So that fascinates and helps me to gain the knowledge, skills, and networks necessary to address the complex challenges facing our world today. Therefore, that makes me stronger, more competent, and more confident and discharging my entire professional and other social responsibilities effectively and efficiently. My leadership qualities and good performance in legal fields and extra-curricular activities, and well-disciplinary nature gave me all the credit to diligence, commitment and professionalism.
