OBJECTIVE
Application/web developer looking for an application/web design/development position with a well-established company that uses current technology, and gives room for learning and advancement.
EMPLOYMENT
8/2006 – 4/2007 HyperDrive Interactive Cincinnati, OH
Interactive Programmer
I worked mainly as a web programmer for this online marketing firm. One of the larger projects I was assigned was building a zip code segmention application that segmented client’s email lists given a zip code and radius. It used PHP for the front end and data processing while the zip code data was stored in a MySql database. Another project I was involved in was managing the creation of a holiday game for LaRosa’s pizzeria. This application was mainly written in Flash and HTML and the high score system was ASP.NET/SQL Server. My responsibility was to communicate and delegate tasks to the Flash developer and graphic designer and keep to a strict project timeline while creating the high score system. The game along with its marketing campaign had great success increasing pizza sales over the holiday season.
2/2004 – 8/2006 Exact Software Cincinnati, OH
Application Developer
My main projects included web application and windows application development using VB.NET/ASP.NET/ADO.NET/SQL Server with focus on accounting, production order processing and inventory transactions for manufacturing/distribution companies. I developed enhancements and customizations for company's ERP/CRM software and standalone applications in Visual Basic 6.0 and ASP.NET/VB.NET that greatly increased productivity of the clients' employees. One example project was an ASP.NET program called Live!Scan POP that used wireless scanners to report production on a production line by scanning a bar code as the products were made. The program integrated with SQL Server and did all the necessary inventory/accounting transactions automatically without needs of having to manually input the data. Another example is a Visual Basic 6.0 program that imported orders into a clients system using an Excel or a flat file. The program either updated or added a new sales order in Macola (the ERP/CRM system), making all the necessary inventory allocations.

I was responsible for designing and developing the company's auto e-commerce web site, database, including maintenance using ASP.NET, ASP/ COM+ Objects using Visual Basic 6.0, HTML, XML, and SQL Server on a Windows 2000 platform. The VB 6 COM objects were developed as a result of increased business to make the web site’s code run faster in a compiled state. In addition to doing programming, I handled monthly company metrics reports and served as a technical support person handling customer problems with the web site.
