## BIO
In excess of 10 years Information Systems experience, including numerous years experience creating and managing database systems for businesses, both small and large. I have also completed a Graduate Certificate in Information Technology from the University of Queensland in 2003, for which I received a letter of commendation from the Dean.
I have been employed in several positions that have utilised my Information Systems experience to develop and improve the collection, storage and retrieval of information. These systems have been developed using various database systems, including Microsoft Access, in combination with user interfaces developed using Visual Basic and extensive use of VBA.
At present I am employed on a contract basis as a business systems analyst and programmer for a database development company specialising in creating affordable, custom software solutions for a wide range of customers. My duties include gathering and analysing client requirements, designing and implementing a suitable solution as well as delivery and client training.
Having developed numerous Information Systems "from scratch", I have an in-depth understanding of the various phases of the Software Development Life Cycle, including analysis, design, development/testing and documentation.
