SupraNet is an Internet service provider in Madison, Wisconsin (USA) focusing primarily on dedicated broadband Internet connectivity, client server co-location, web hosting and Internet consulting. Reporting to the President, my primary role was to develop the SecureOnTM business unit - promoting the multi-tenant building Internet connectivity product to landlords in Madison, Milwaukee and Chicago. The business model included the provision of high-speed Internet connections and other applications to tenants in high-rise buildings. Companies competing in this space were racing to enter into supplier contracts with landlords and were achieving investor value in terms of the building areas (square feet) under contract to service in the future. My secondary role was to develop and execute strategies to increase general company sales of Internet connections, website hosting, collocated servers and other Internet-based products. To this end I employed a sales manager and replaced the sales force. Together with a tried and tested sales process and the much needed support, the team achieved sales in excess of their targets. Achievements: • Developed financial and operational controls to address the company’s strategic objectives • Signed up over thirty high-rise buildings for SecureOnTM business unit • Negotiated several agreements with Internet application providers to run their applications on our in-building networks • Managed the sales team in increasing 2001 sales by 91% over 2000 sales

UCLID was a software development company in the Geographic Information Systems (GIS) industry. The software product in development was IcoMap™; parcel-mapping software, using text recognition technologies combined with AutoCAD functionality. As Director of Operations I reported to the CEO and responsible for coordinating the different divisions of the company to ensure the timely and successful release and sales of our software products. The position entailed managing the Sales, HR, Finance and the Technical Support divisions. I worked closely with the VP of Marketing & IT and the VP of Engineering to set and achieve organizational goals and objectives. I dedicated much of my time to new business development to increase sales, as this was the company’s primary focus. Achievements: • Created the reseller distribution network and formulated the corresponding contractual documents • Established and managed relationships at executive and senior level with strategic partners and customers in the GIS Industry (Examples include AutoDesk, ESRI, American Title Insurance Company and the US Bureau of Land Management) • Delivered numerous presentations to industry organizations and to the leadership of companies and government organizations • Researched international business expansion into foreign GIS markets
