Development started in March of 2004 and went into production on September 1, 2004. The service architecture uses distributed appliances to act as proxies for local web and messaging traffic. The appliances communicate with a centralized cluster to synchronize rule sets and handle exception processing. ICPCI (Internet Crime Prevention and Control Institute) – developed, operated and marketed shared services center for financial institutions to interdict phishing and other internet crimes. Members included a major credit bureau, investment banks, and regional/national banks. Worked with US Secret Service as a member of their regional Economic Crime Task Forces, as well as with FBI at the national level. Was then given broad responsibility for four business unit websites as well as the main corporate site; my team also overhauled the Investor Relations presentation, developed company web casts, and handled production and distribution of corporate streaming video service requirements. Simultaneously, we were asked to take the prototype oil trading system from a prototype into full production following an aggressive development schedule with complex, evolving requirements. Worked a large number of legacy system and data incompatibility issues in middleware and back office practices; assisted in Oracle Financials migration.
