I have been developing custom software for various businesses for 30+ years, the last 18 years as an independent freelance software developer. Usually I work closely with relevant staff of clients to co-design a system, and then develop software to suit the specific business requirements of that client. My clients have all been medium to long term in duration, ranging in size from fairly small to medium sized businesses. I have extensive experience in writing desktop applications that can be utilized on an in-house server such as Linux or Windows In recent years I have concentrated more on developing cloud based systems that may be accessed from any device as long as there is an internet connection available. I am skilled in designing relational databases, usually Oracle, and writing the associated software to leverage the data in the database.
