• Architecture and design of the project • Provide a non-ERP based programming function, in appropriate tools, and to supply programming advice/support within the Team when required. • produce detailed technical program specifications for one's own use or for use by other programming staff in the Team • Liaise with user’s pursuant programming and minor systems analysis/design related activities only. • Acquire sufficient business knowledge of the application systems for which the team is responsible to enable a support function to be performed. • Maintain awareness of developments in computer and telecommunications hardware and software technologies where these relate to non-ERP services. • Ensure all technical and operational non-ERP documentation is correct, current and that it reflects current best practice. • Attend formal review/progress meetings with the IS Solutions Manager (Non-ERP) as required covering areas for which responsible. • Maintain installation standards regarding programming, procedures and documentation. • Maintain and update a version control system to maintain code in as efficient manner as possible. • Provide support for any third party organisations pursuant to projects the institution is undertaking. • Use LEAN principles • Become involved in ad hoc tasks as required. • Branding and customization of UI interaction features like User Controls, master pages, page layouts, etc. • Developing SharePoint code components like navigation bar, http modules, media carousel controls, list and document library event handlers, etc. • Developing UI related functionalities like JQuery, CSS, Ajax, HTML content, responsive design elements • The site has to be responsive enough to have three break-points one for desktop version and another for mobile version, supported browser on desktop version are IE 8 and above, Firefox, Chrome and Safari.
