We need BB application that will allow users to manage their stock quotes portfolio.
The main functions are :
- Authentication screen.
- News part : displays articles about markets (articles are in html format). They will be provided by a REST web service that returns XML Data.
- Watch list : User can add stock quotes to watch list, remove quotes.
- Portfolio : Displays the list of quotes owned by the user and allows user to buy and sell quotes.
- Current operations : Display status of buy/sell operations, the number of buyed/selled quotes, prices...
- Search engine : Used to search for quote symbols and display data related to quotes (data include variation diagrams for day/week/month time intervals, last closing price, introduction price.. Those detailed view will also be accessible from watch list...)
Data model descriptions will be provided.? All services will be mocked-up by the selected bider, but the design will ensure flexibility, at limit just data request methods will be modified in order to connect to the production web services.
I prefer to use a good design pattern and to separate service layer, model, and presentation layer (use for data providing DAO).
