The selected programmer will receive a "minimum of $1000 US per month". This post is not a programming request, it is the first step to LOCATE a qualified programmer.
If you meet the qualifications below further discussion will be opened with you. If you meet these requirements, we will agree to pay a reasonable fee for your time required to study our existing system and learn how to install it and make changes, etc.
We are looking for a programmer with experience in working in Delphi/Visual C++ and experience installing packages and configuring the environment on Unix/Linux and the Solaris 10 OS.
Our Windows client application (.exe) is running on Windows 98/ME/2000/XP OS.
Inno Setup - is a freeware installation builder used to build the installer package that is downloaded.
The server is built in C++, and you must have experience with the standard editing tools (gcc, g++ compilers) required for compilation.
The ActiveX module (autodownloader), Video Email DLL, and the Sound DLL, are written in Visual C++ 6.0 NO SERVICE PACK
The Windows client application (.exe) is written in Delphi 7, no SP.
The WEB backend is written in PHP - any editing tools are ok. For editing, the rest running process requires:
- Apache compiled with zlib support, eaccelerator support, etc.
There are also some more scripts made in bash.
This will be a long-term project with a minimum of 2 years upgrades to be made to our system.
You must speak English fluently.
You must be a citizen of Mexico or the USA. We prefer to work with someone from Mexico as this is where we are located.
Please reply back if you have the above qualifications and further discussion will be opened with you. We will require 3 personal and 3 business references who will give a good report regarding your personal and business practices.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
