This article presents an outreach project involving data discovery services for the Gulf Restoration Network, a nonprofit environmental organization based in New Orleans, Louisiana. It discusses the processes and resources used to gather geographic data on environmental degradation in the Gulf of Mexico, including the LOSCO Data Catalog, LouisianaMap, and other geographic resources.
