I am a linguist involved in the research of syntactic variation and linguistic diversity. I hold a bachelor degree in Language Sciences and a MA degree in Linguistic Revision and Consultancy. I worked for over 2 years in an IT department developing language processing tools, namely machine translation tools. I have large experience in linguistic annotation, text edition and revision, and translation.

I participated in two projects: DP4LT, that aimed for the creation and management of an annotated corpus; and QTLeap, that consisted of the development of better machine translations through the use of deep language engineering approaches. I was responsible for the syntactic and semantic annotation of Portuguese sentences, text revision and quality translation assurance. I also tested and evaluated the quality of several linguistics resources.
