I have an excel sheet, I need it filled with data. The data is horse racing data. This data is found on Racingpost racecards on there website. I need details of horses last races, there form and the trainer and jockey stats. These sheets take me between 20-40 mins. This may be ongoing, with 5 sheets filled out daily.

i wouild like the racingpost racecards to be scraped so i can use in excel.. there is an example of a card later tonight..this are accessed freely but the urls can change for each meeting i would like the process as automated as possible but dont mind having to do something manual each day either..Am open to suggestions on the best route to take to get the required data into excel..cheers

Require VB.Net implementation (HttpWebRequest/HttpWebResponse) that will login to the RP website (), caching the cookies. Subsequently, it will use those cookies in HttpWebRequests to return extended information available to paid subscribers. Also, there should be a mechanism to logout and to periodically check that login cookies/credentials are still valid (namely, a Function to return "True" if still logged-in, "False" otherwise). Deliverable as VB.Net source code.

The software will need to allow me to log in to , then allow me to navigate to the race that I want to compile the odds on. Each horse in the race will be given a rating dependent on a number of factors that will have to be scraped from the racingpost, this final rating of each horse will be used to determine the percentage chance of each horse winning, which will then be used to calculate the odds of the horse winning. So on selecting the race and clicking a Button saying something like "Compile Odds" the software will do all the necessary calculations in the background and produce in an odds ordered list the horses in the race. Hello This software can be made for a Linux server or as a Win 8 desktop software as long as it works as it should. Here are the steps: Step 1: Go to: Grab the name of the linked courses at the top. This so we only grab data for races that has tipsters. Step 2: Software go to RacingPost.Com. And now it take out the 1st and 2nd favorite name and odds for all races if the odds is between 2/1 and 7/2 everything else is ignored. (I.E Evs and same odds are ignored/skipped) Step 3: Software take 1st fav odds minus 2nd fav odds. The score is called the difference. Save to db. Step 4: Import Races Course-name And Start-time from plus amount of runners for each race. Step 5: Head back over to and grab amount of tipster for each 1st FAV in the database. Also ...
I have a small project that I need completed TODAY!!! I need a piece of software written that will scrape information from a website perform a small calculation and then output the results. I have included an image to show the info that I need taken from the racingpost website. Dear freelancers, I have already the first part of my project witch was made in C#, and it is an exe that puts in excel all the races from Racingpost website according to a date interval indicated by me.
