I am producing an eccomerce site for a liquor store. I am using a SQL Server back end. The store currently has foxpro based POS software with aprox. 2000 products. All of these products fall under 3-4 categories. I will provide the bidder with 5-6 foxpro tables which will populate corresponding SQL Server tables. This will involve adding primary keys to some tables and maintaining relationships etc. Essentially, turning the FOXPRO tables into relational SQL tables. Assuming all goes well, I will then ask the coder to import the data into the ecommerce format as an additional project. Need to integrate the Edit-X shopping cart with the UPS (United Postal Service) API. Specifically looking for a programmer with knowledge of the UPS API and a strong PHP background. This project consists of two tasks, Address Verification and Live Shipping Rate Calculation. Each of these two functions will be integrated into the Edit-X CCF Pro + Eccomerce version. Address verification will be triggered upon users registration and the rate calculation will included on the customers checkout process. New pages in the process will need to be created to allow for users to correct an address and modify accordingly. The rate calculation will be based on the shipping address location and the products ordered to determine the rate selection before purchase confirmation.
