We have an outdated version of ELGG and PHP. We need to update both. We need to have php 5.5 in order to install an editor

I want to design a social network website based on either social engine or elgg platforms. The concept of the network is in some way similar to freelancer, O desk, Linkedi etc. The project would take some time to be completed and therefore it will require a freelancer with patience and innovative ideas. Also the project will be an hourly based so we can discuss the development and amendments throughout the project. I require someone with experience with elgg to work on some parts of my already exsisting elgg website. Work will include installing and customizing a couple of plugins and working on the look and feel.

I need a mobile app for IOS. It should use the Elgg Social Networking Engine and connect to it via an API. It will need to use the Elgg engine to do the following: a. User authentication b. Activity Stream or wall posting c. Alert notifications for, wall posts, activity, pictures and friend activity d. Thoughts/Blogs e Private messaging f. Posting of pictures for both groups and individual g. Person Tagging in pictures h. Permission group access i. Configurable to access multiple systems. it appears there are no mobile app solutions for Elgg and need a very basic mobile app that has the default feature set of elgg to include video uploading for v.1.8.8 that posts to the user's account on the live site. help developing/connecting the API important.

I have HTML pages for main page (river), blog page, Tidypics gallery page and 2 templates for Calendar plugin page.
