The overall project is to design a nine foot diameter platform that revolves at approximately five RPM. The platform will have a live load of 1200 pounds or the weight of six people. The specific request in this contract is to specify the size and type of motor needed to turn the platform. A line drawing of the structure and turntable is attached.
