Database program to store client information & functionality

I currently have a small insurance broking business. I have been using a self designed excel spreadsheet to input client data that then fills out 3 invoice copies in another spreadsheet that has been set up as a basic template. I am looking to have this system changed as I now have about 500 individual spreadsheets for each invoice that I need to update each year. I am thinking about a simple data base where it can capture the data the same way then I can export the information to a standard template that can be used to invoice the client, I would like the export file to be a PDF file. I can provide an example of what I am currently doing and what I am looking for with the functionality. The export template will have a number of pages with some standard disclosure information included. I am looking for someone that has experience with database design that can do the above and might have an existing portfolio of work that I can view. I don’t think it would be a very difficult project, basic functionality is search option and a number of print buttons Client Copy, Accounts Copy & File Copy and “Print All” function. Each will have a slightly different output data. Over time I might wish to add other features to the program so I would like it in a commonly used system. I also want to be able to make changes to the output templates if required. Please let me know if you require further information prior to bid.
