For this project, you will be looking at a number of webpages, reading certain sections of them, using information from these sections and typing that info into the attached spreadsheet with that data according to these specs. These webpages are on a subscription site, so I have imported them into Excel and included the workbook in the specs for this project. These web pages contain a running script of news items and stock trading calls that occur live on an intraday basis. This text can be found in column C on each worksheet with a date in this workbook. The stock trading calls will be highlighted in yellow on the page, but please note that there are some other items are also highlighted in yellow. You are only to log the stock trading calls. For each of the calls, there will be: · a 5 letter acronym of the trader who made the call (usually at the beginning of the text) · the time of the call · the symbol of the stock · whether they are buying or shorting (selling) the stock · the price at the time of the call (usually at the end of the text, sometimes at the beginning) · how much money (on a per share basis) that the trader is willing to risk on the call · Sometimes the traders make calls without telling how much they are willing to risk on the call or not giving a stop price… DO NOT log these calls as I’m not interested in any calls where the trader does not give a specific stop price or dollar amount of risk. Also, at some point later in the day or on a day some point on another day in the future, the trader will indicate he’s closing a portion or all of the position. He only does this if the trade is not “stopped out?? (met it’s stop price criteria). I am also including a csv file that contain the Open, High, Low, and Closing Prices for each stock for each minute of the day for the days that these stocks are in play. You will need to use these files to determine exit and entry prices. More details are in the doc file in the attached zip file.
