Hello,
I run my services from the Indian city of Calcutta, and bring to the table more than two decades of editing experience at several English newspapers.
We Indians have been using the English language for more than 200 years; so please have no worries on that front.
I have gone through your project description and am keen to do the job. Should you award it to me, I would do the following to polish your articles, if necessary:
i) See to it that the sentences had subject-verb agreement and uniform verb tense, proper pronouns and pronoun-antecedent agreement; and that they had no misplaced or dangling modifiers
ii) Deal with syntactic errors, wordy expressions, and inappropriate phrasing
iii) Fine-tune and tighten the language, and ensure that the articles rightly addressed the target audience
iv) Take care of misspelling/typos, and
v) Use proper punctuation.
In short, I will edit them for grammar, spelling, and punctuation with emphasis on enhanced readability.
I’d like to get the document in MS Word so that I could use the latter’s track changes facility for our benefit.
What I am:
I’m a former business journalist with 26+ years of desk experience at four major English dailies in India, and a company that provides editing services online. I’m a BA in English literature.
What I do:
I have a rigorous approach to editing. I don't stop working on a piece until its language and readability meets the norms set by the publishing industry.
Thank you,
Writeman4it
